Immortality of Poetry

My Poetry is immortal through ink and words.

Words wrapped up in my deepest feelings

emotions, and bleeding through transcendence

in a poetic dance where names and deeds are

Spilling my soul in verses in a nectarous word

play, where nouns and verbs blend creating a

mental rhapsody.

My spoken word Poetry spills messages of hope,

love and inspiration from the tip of my fine pen.

Bleeding truth, breathing life in pages in an

intimate twist of words displaying the virgin

floetic lines of my poetic coquetry.

Exploring the intimate display of my inner

beauty in detail laced words.

My poetry has no goodbyes because rhymes and

lines do not suffer the fleeting tragedy of time.

Words resonating with the sound of musical

instruments. Always fresh, smooth, soothing and

never fading. Transmitting verbal frequencies

to different readers, making the message abode

in their souls.

Building connections with my Poetic flow, inspiring

souls and touching hearts.

Explicating truth based on my thoughts and

perceptions, translating personal experience into

imagery in a poetic mesmerizing aura.

Immortalizing my words to be read by different

generations, poems that won’t get lost in a dusty shelf.

Poetic truth paying my debt to my ancestors.

I am an African woman and a mother to a precious little angel. I love to use the term "Afro-floetic Queen" mostly to describe my poetry and my roots. I love, soul music and inspirational bits of knowledge to offer advice and counseling to those who need it. I can be very witty, straight forward but fun. Ha. ha... A colorful perception of the world - expressed in my poetry. I want to inspire people with my Poetry...give them hope, while also advising them. Life is a learning process and i am happy when one of my pieces directly affects or inspires one of my readers. Let's take a detour around experience, and let me fill your minds with sweet poetic juices.... Note: Just changed my user name from FloetryC to AfroetryC because the latter is more personal and describes my Spoken Word Poetry better.
