Anger ( Don’t make decisions when you’re angry)

Anger is a deceitful mask that covers nothing.

The familiar stranger lurking in the shadow of

our emotions with poisoned words creating

deep verbal wounds and leaving scars that

are easily forgiven but not forgotten.

Anger is a bridling loose tongue, using

uncontrolled hurtful words and making

bitter hush decisions in haste.

Anger paralyzes our innate power to reason,

brainwashes our thoughts and instigates pain.

Overpowering the mind, crippling the flesh,

burning the soul and destroying spirits.

Anger differentiates man from the beast.

Roams in our system like a black widow

preying upon the weak and uses fear,

jealousy, and insecurity as scapegoats to

justify irrational actions.

A vile creature spitting destruction with

knife-like words, irrational behavior breeding

hate and affirming the existence of evil.

Anger is a huge dark cloud that covers

our judgment

Making our mouths rain down with words

we do not mean to say.

Anger is like the infernal fire of a dragon’s

breath; burning relationships, marriages,

and friendships.

Anger has a way of bringing out the truth but

it also destroys peace and blocks happiness.

A haven for feelings of restlessness, confusion

and pangs of regret.

Breeds a monster if unresolved and creates

mental illness when repressed.

So, be slow to anger and don’t let anger control

your life.

Take time to cool down, analyze the situation

then speak calmly with reason.

Don’t succumb to pressure when you’re angry

and speak without thinking.

Don’t go to bed when you’re angry.

Don’t be quick to make sweeping statements,

point fingers, make lash judgments and

accusations springing from anger.

Measure your words to whom you treasure

with intelligence.

Be nice and truthful, not hurtful and truthful.

Sister, hold your tongue the same way you

control your farts in public when you’re angry.

Don’t be quick to speak uncontrollably in

haste because you might choke on your words

and lose the best thing in your life.

Brother, control your thoughts and actions the

Same way you control an erection in a public

Don’t make decisions when you are mad

because you might regret them and lose the

best thing in your life.

  1. You’re kinda on fire here… But you also forget that anger also makes us act. It could be a weapon of the mind just when we think all is lost. Anger sometimes keeps us alive. Some act better when their mind becomes red with anger

    1. I totally agree. Anger does have a way of revealing certain truths too…yes, it makes us act, but most times irrationally.
The ones that act better when angry usually have a ton of regrets.

I’d rather walk away, give me time to cool down then i speak.
