The Language of Love. (Literally)

Mon amour, i want to create a special

language with neither syntax nor literature.

Code in which each word provokes a

semblance of profound yearning and

ecstasy in the mental resort filled with

exotic niceties’.

Mpenzi wangu, let me compose poetry

that only our hearts can decipher.

Whisper warm loving endearments to

my beautiful soul.

Let the amazing movement of your

mouth reveal patterns only i can

translate.

Mi amor, let me paint murals around

your eyelids because your eyes are the

most eloquent… undefiled language of

the soul.

Meine Liebe, do conversate with my

mind in a trendy dialect that semantics

have annihilated.

Let’s form a cadence and let the artistic

fire burning inside our souls translate our

rhythmic moans. Thrum! Thrum!

Our phrases strung together will form

accredited anthologies.

So, mukwano, open your mind and

let’s skinny dip in the vast sea of language-

liberated in a colorful world where love

freely dwells.

Because,

Je t’aime…

Nakupenda…

Te amo

Ich liebe dich

Nkwagala…

Amari…

I love you.

I am an African woman and a mother to a precious little angel. I love to use the term "Afro-floetic Queen" mostly to describe my poetry and my roots. I love poetry...art, soul music and inspirational bits of knowledge to offer advice and counseling to those who need it. I can be very witty, straight forward but fun. Ha. ha... A colorful perception of the world - expressed in my poetry. I want to inspire people with my Poetry...give them hope, while also advising them. Life is a learning process and i am happy when one of my pieces directly affects or inspires one of my readers. Let's take a detour around experience, and let me fill your minds with sweet poetic juices.... Note: Just changed my user name from FloetryC to AfroetryC because the latter is more personal and describes my Spoken Word Poetry better.
